You Are My Home
I walk into the house, shutting the door behind me. I look around the familiar place feeling contentment wash over me. I release a sigh and take in the warmth of this place we have turned into a home. Our home. It feels good to say that.
I smile and feel my heart swell with more love for you. You made us the family that we are. I know you'd say WE did, but I know this is all you.
I suddenly feel the strong need to be in your arms. I want you. I need you. I crave you. I make my way over to the stairs and begin climbing them, two at a time.
My body heat rises with each step I take. I can feel you. I can taste you. I know you are near. I walk to our bedroom door and place my open palm on it. I know you are in there. I can feel the strong pull guiding me to you.
