right so you know how you're never supposed to jinx yourself by saying, "things couldn't possibly get any worse..." ? well, turns out that such is incredibly true....AND THEN SOME. i was supposed to go down to gville this past weekend to move things out of my apartment. well, there weren't any trucks available thanks to all the freshmen moving into the dorms or whatever is going on down in gainesville. i have been sitting at work all day doing absolutely NOTHING because my boss is out of town and left me no assignments - there's only so many times you can change an excel sheet or rearrange a filing cabinet just for the hell of it. people around the office are going crazy because there is so much to be done and i feel absolutely terrible because i can't help them with any of it simply because it's all dealing with accounts that they have to oversee personally. well i just called becca, the office manager at my old apartment complex to tell her that we would be coming down this upcoming weekend to move everything out of my apartment. regardless of the fact that i didn't move in till the 18th last august, my lease apparently ends at midnight tonight. i told her that we wouldn't be able to get down there till this upcoming weekend. well the new people are moving in on monday. they claim they need 3 days to go through the apartment and inspect blah, blah, blah before they turn over the apartment. my dad is SO PISSED OFF. i just called him to tell him the news. he was rather calm about the whole matter, but he asked for becca's number and said he's going to call her. i am terrified that hell is about to be raised with my ass on the burner....to make it worse, however things get worked out i can't help if they go down during the week because i have NO vacation time and jeff was already amazing enough to hire me knowing that i'd be taking 16 days off after only two weeks of working here at the agency. if you're reading this - say a prayer and a half. also, feel free to check out my newly designed 'myspace' since that was how i spent the past 5 hours of my life...
