Look, I'm not dead

So, It's been about 6 months. Sue me.
Lot's of stuff, but since I'm lazy, here we go.
We are moving to Oregon. Wife got a job at one of the larger hospitals up there.
They are paying for relocation and we couldn't say no.
Most of my circle of friends from when I was in Cali are there and my ex and 2 older daughters live up there. My family moved into the Pac Northwest so this is really turning into a reunion of family and friends for me. Wife is looking forward to it and for both of us it's a long overdue adventure.
We were up in Oct. to visit and had a GREAT time. It was honestly fantastic to reconnect with everyone and to see that the old connections were still alive. Different, but still there. It was fantastic.
We are still working out how we are driving there. Oddly enough we are looking at taking the far north route, the weather up there so far has been mild and honestly, I would rather drive through 2" of snow with the people in North Dakota then to drive through 1/2" in Amarillo. Go fig.
But the exact route will be made once we start the trip.
The truck comes to get our stuff on the 5th. I'm having a little get together with work folk at Dave & Busters in Arundel Mills on the 4th. Starting around 5 or so and lasting till I can't stand it anymore, or I'm broke.
If you think you will be around, feel free to stop in.
I will miss all of you here. I do love Maryland, the people and place. It's been great fun and this will always be one of my favorite places in the country... and I've been around a fair bit. :)
I will also say that anyone that is interested in joining us out in the wild west will be welcomed with open arms. There isn't a person here that I know, (specially the 5 or so that actually see this) that I wouldn't love to see out there.
BTW, you can actually drink the tap water in most places out there. At least without making yucky faces!
