I saw this exhibit of a bunch of googly eyed japanese lookin dolls with violent images being reflected in their "innocent, child-like eyes" at Stux Gallery and thought it was a load of bullshit.
Well, I just started looking through a copy of this small free art review magazine and saw a positive review for it
"Children may be innocent, but they are often forced to carry all the baggage that their parents refuse to let go of, resulting in cycles of destruction that seem infinite... Original, menacing, and compelling, these works postit an unmediated view of the world at large through eyes that do not, cannot blink."
