Cedars is going away.
The landlord of the Cedars property on Brooklyn has decided to not allow Mohammed to continue his lease, and has also decided to reclaim the name of 'Cedars on Brooklyn'. So at the end of April, the staff and management of Cedars will change over to filthy strangers, and tears will be shed in the wake of a new 'Cedars' establishment. If you drop by in the next month or so, you can get the pamphlet that gives the polite explanation, and includes a coupon for eating at Taste of India, their other restaurant on Roosevelt and 53rd.
Taste of India will still be available, and we are encouraged to go there instead to enjoy our familiar favorites, especially the chai and naan.
