I don't generally like politics. I like reading and following, but I don't like discussing or sharing my opinions.
I will say, though, that I was a supporter of Barack Obama. I have heard most, if not all of his speeches, and I like the way he presents himself. I am thrilled that he won, and I think that he will really do what he has said he will do. I think he is a man open to the opinions of others, most importantly the opinion of the American people.
I will say that John McCain wasn't completely horrible and might have been okay. He certainly worked hard to differentiate himself from Bush. I will also say that Sarah Palin was a train-wreck and I did NOT like her at all. Female not withstanding, I didn't like her and the thought of her as the VP to an ailing President really scared me.
That said, I think the scapegoating of Sarah Palin is horrific and shows an abominable lack of judgment on behalf of the McCain aides. This commentary from CNN sums it up soooo beautifully!
