Hello wonderful people! I AM IN JAPAN! Words cannot describe the feelings I have, but I suppose I will breifly attempt to convey my feelings.
I look around at the scenery and people and it feels like home...yet being at an unfamiliar place or even back in Takahagi(town I was in last year) it seemed like it wasn`t home. Monica and I went to visit the church we were working at last year and the other team was there. I was looking around and I remembered so many memories and recalled all these different feelings yet when I looked upon the other team`s faces I quickly lost that feeling and almost felt like I was intruding upon someone else`s ground. Which of course this is going to be a normal thing, but such a funny feeling. It makes me happy to see the faces and reactions of the Japanese people when they see us, `gygene`(white people) and you would think it would make me frustrated to not be able to read the train station map, time, or even platform...but it isn`t. I quite enjoy the fun of iliteracy. :o) The smells...the sounds...the views...it is all just so amazing. Such a shame that I am here for only one week. One day...one day I will actually live out here for an extended amount of time. Ahhhhh...Japan. :o) All it good.
