... remember me? =)
It's been a long time since I've sat here and penned (rather, typed) my thoughts onto a blank piece of paper (screen). As cliched as it sounds, I have indeed been busy; busy with work, holiday preparations, ritualistic ceremonies to bring snow upon the mountains (53F in November???).
Life's been good. Really good. Finances are well-improved and growing quite fast, which allows me the freedom to pursue the things I'm interested in. After all, why else would I work my ass off, eh?
I've been having second-thoughts about PA school, mostly as a result of in-depth discussions of the pros and cons from both family and friends. The general consensus: I'm crazy. But we all knew that, no? I still don't know what I'm going to do. Work is pretty good, considering it's retail pharmacy, and since it's slower I have much less stress to deal with (unless you count the fact that I have an extremely lazy partner who chats way too much on the phone while at work). The pay is, if course, outstanding as is the job security.
So why would I want to leave? Yeah, that's the proverbial question without a concrete answer. =P
In other news, the trip to the Galapagos Islands is at the point where Nat and I are trying to narrow down a firm travel week. We're trying to figure out whether February or March would be a preferred time to visit, and it seems like there's no /bad/ time to visit -- it's a matter of whether we'd rather go when it's warmer (which would mean warmer waters for snorkeling) or a bit earlier. Regardless, we'll be there during the 'wet' season, which means the islands will be lush with flora (fauna is a year-round thing with that place). So. If anyone out there has any recommendations or knows folks who could provide recommendations, I'd be much obliged. All I want to do is snorkel with sea lions and sea turtles, is that too much to ask? =)
Snoooooow, where are yooooooo...
To close, it's that proverbial time of the year when your friends' lists get flooded with entries requesting your snail-mail address if you'd like a pretty, sparkly, chipper holiday card.
Mine is no exception, of course.
So. If you'd like to receive a holiday card from yours truly, please provide your snail-mail address (comments will be screened of course). And even if you think I have it already, well -- kindly leave it again? I print this thing out as my holiday card list. =) (yes, that was pointedly directed at you, miss
sensacola... )
Cheers!
