so, apparently i've held out long enough for the powers that be to allow me some sort of reward. after losing an 8000 grades-based scholarshipo my freshman year, i've spent the last year hoarding and stressing over simple things like 'when can i afford new shoes and jeans?'. I just got my financial aid report in. not only do i actually have enough scholarship money this next year to enable me to keep all of my work-study money and apply it towards things like rent, I get to keep my child support money, adn i even get to reduce my student loans this year by $800+... or just have the school cut me a check for that amount. my choice. i am a happy, much releived Miranda. now i won't feel nearly so bad about buying one par of new shoes on Monday to replace my two pairs of broken, worn-through, holey shoes that i've apparently worn to death and beyond.
