So I was on my way home today via Baker Street and I couldn't resist taking these photographs. I felt like a total tourist, lol! The one of the Sherlock Holmes Museum isn't brilliant because I had to snap it quick in between cars/lorries/buses and actual tourists. The policeman (who looked, as ever, totally gorgeous in his period costume(!)) did ( Read more... )

Awesome on the SH stuff. I haven't been to England since 2006 (I think I told you) and I love the tube. And you take lovely pictures, btw.

What is millionaire's shortbread?

Aw, thanks! The truth of the matter is, I have a very good little camera that was sold to me on the point of it being able to produce beautiful photographs even if you don't have a clue what you're doing. I have not been disappointed with it. :D I love the tube too and I live here! I go on it every week!

It is very yummy! It is shortbread biscuit (urm - cookie, to you guys) - shortbread (idk, do you have shortbread there??) being a very crumbly, buttery biscuit of the utmost yumminess. Shortbread is perfectly acceptable on it's own, but millionaire's shortbread has a layer of gooey caramel on top, topped by a layer of thick, firm chocolate. The stuff in the Zoo's staff canteen is possibly the best thing they sell - when you bite into it, the chocolate cracks, the caramel gets stickily everywhere, and the biscuit crumbles. Lol, sorry, I explained that with great extravagance then, didn't I?
