A real update?
For those of you that haven't heard, last last Friday I received the newest addition to my family. His name is Detroit, nine weeks old, and he's a Siberian Husky. He has an evil eye (one is brown, the other is light blue). He's a sweetheart and I love him to death.
In other news, I'm moving. Yup, you read correctly. Diego is moving out, and the boys are having the hardest time finding someone to fill the room. It's the master bedroom with a private bath and a huge closet. It's the same price as here, and my pup will have someone home with him more. The boys wrestle with him and that will fulfill some of his needs. Also, relations with Ness's parents are just way too damned unpredictable. I'm not in a contract here, so they can do whatever they want (please see this post). So I have a bit of security there too. The house is big and there's plenty of space. The only problem? I will be living with my boyfriend. We'll have separate rooms and all, and truthfully, I don't think it will be that much different. We sleep together every night as it is, it's almost like we already live together. Plus, I'm not home a lot, and when I am I want to be with Sac. I already talked to Ness about it, and I'm welcome to come back here if things don't work out there. I also talked to my parents, who had no problem whatsoever. In fact, my mom has been trying to get me to move in that house for a while now. My 'rents both came and saw the house on Saturday and they wholeheartedly approve. My dad's a little relieved, which surprised me.
I'll have to admit, I didn't expect my dad to jump on board like he did. But I guess people can surprise you. He really wants me to live there.
So I'll be moving in come June-ish. I'm not worried about Ness; Curtis is moving in the same time I move out. I'll just miss my pink room. Le sigh.
