Ultimate Possibility

Look at me.
Look at me.
You have no idea what I am.
I'm not a girl in a green sweatshirt.
I'm not a college student, or an english major.
I'm what you've never dared to dream. I'm what you've never even thought of.
I have so much to give.
I'm every opportunity, taken and missed.
I'm every chance.
I'm a mythical creature--and more. I'm
a pillar of fire, made of white-gold heat and stars.
I have wings of flame. I soar like a burning kite.

And I have so much to give you.

I hold the world in my hands: passion. Excitement. A new way of looking at life.
A new kind of seeing.
I can open your eyes and show you a world
of cobalt glass and burning suns, of galaxies, of bright pools and meteors.
I can open doors for you, and windows, let in
the sun and storms. How can you stand to live in a house?
I'm going to let in the light and wind,
welcome the first storm of the season, raw and rocking.
I'm going to expose you to snow and sun and stars.
I'm going to change your world.

Because I am traveling light, the brightness
on the river and every language ever spoken.
I will give you back every and any regret, and
make you make the most of the world.
I am the unknown. I am every possibility. I offer them to you.
The ultimate chance, every imaginable outcome, is written in the palms of my hands.

And I have so much to give you.
