I signed up for a class to renew my concealed handgun license next month. Its an indoor range, so I can take my shooting test there as well. Plus they do all of the fingerprinting and take the passport photo for you. I'm happy to be getting that out of the way.
I saw a survey question when I logged into LJ asking if you thought it was a good move for Spitzer to resign after his recent prostitution deal. I say no. He should have manned up and been all, "Yeah I was paying women to bang me, but at least they were women! Unlike some political figures these days... And at least I wasn't touching little boys like our religious leaders." I'm being sarcastic, but shit, even his wife was telling him not to resign. I guess I feel that there is far worse that he could have done than pay for some sex. Pay he did by the way! I read that his running tab was $80,000! Damn.
I know it was still illegal, and I feel he did the right thing by admitting to it and resigning. I don't want corrupt people in politics, but I also know that there are politicians out there that do far worse illegally. Bribes, extortion, murder, etc. and they get away with it, and yet, we focus on Spitzer who is only guilty of having a major jones for petite brunettes half his age...and paying for them to bounce on his old man balls. She wasn't all that great looking either in my opinion, but whatever.
