(no subject)
Well we did it. We are moved in. All my crap and a bit of her crap...yes, I have a lot of shit. But we moved from SF...then we left right off the bat. We went to NOLA and a frickin' blast. We went to Illinois and worked our asses off. Then we killed our asses driving across country for 3 days towing a Uhaul. Long days on the road and we pushed through just to get home on the last day.
Beth has been a trooper. She's done an amazing job of putting stuff in their place, including me...and our house has come together. It's amazing! I love it. I can't wait to get our pictures up and really show what we are.
And for those of you not in the know...I start at the Oakland Police Academy on Monday morning. I'm nervous as hell, but more excited than you'll ever know! This is a huge change for me...and I've actually caught myself getting a little sadfaced. I was a firefighter for almost 15yrs! That's a career for some folks. So now I'm changing careers and I'm going to have gear up to learn to study! Haha!
So that's that. If you want to come to our housewarming on the 31st...well let me know and I'll tell you where! ;)
