After long silence

Posting a journal entry has become another of those tasks that has dropped off my weekly schedule, despite repeated mental notes of things I should record (for my own future reference, even of no one else is still reading this). The daffodils are coming up (and some are even blooming), I got a really good annual bonus (that is going to evaporate as soon as it hits my account because the expenses keep stacking up), Dizzy went to the vet Monday afternoon (and is now on an antibiotic and liver pills). And I'd make a more thorough entry if I had a real keyboard to work with and wasn't thumbtyping on my phone.
