A week ago Thursday, The Body Shop sent out about 500,000 emails containing coupons for $10 in free product if you come in for a free skincare consultation or free makeovers. There is no minimum to buy. You have to bring a printout of the email in with you. Limit one coupon per store visit.
per store visit.
Now here's what you do:
1. Print out as many of these coupons as you like. Let's say 10.
2. Go into your nearest local Body Shop (not mine).
3. Get a free skincare consultation or makeover.
4. Pick out a mini-body butter or mini-scrub, value $10
5. Take it up to the register, present the coupon, walk out with your free body butter.
6. Go get a cup of coffee, see a movie, browse a book store, shop elsewhere.
7. After about an hour, return to your Body Shop of choice and repeat steps 1-6 as many times as you have coupons. They MUST take your coupon each time. Corporate office says so, and you can tell them that. Although, to be on the safe side, you may want to rotate between a couple of different stores, and spread your visits out over two days.
8. Wait one month. Do not use your body butters.
9. Bring in all your body butters, but leave the reciepts at home. Tell them you want an exchange. Trade your 10 useless mini body butters in for $100 worth of whatever you want. Personally I'd go for makeup, but the home fragrence oils are always popular.
And that's how you can Scam the Body Shop. The coupon expires at the end of Sunday, though, so get out there and start scamming now.
Seriously. Do it. Help me fuck corporate for being asstastic.
