So Thursday I have a dr.'s appt and my wife decides to come with me. Driving there I start feeling weird. As we are sitting in the waiting room my left side goes numb and I'm having cold sweats. We see my hot doctor. (I have a thing for red heads.) I tell her my symptoms and she does an exam and gives me an ekg to see if I'm having a cardiac issue. She can't figure it out so she suggests we go to the ER. Mind you this is the same ER that didn't diganose my stroke the first time. The doctor said it was vertigo. I sit in the ER for 7 hours only for them to admit me and tell me they need more tests. If I started a religion it would be centered around sporting events.  Super Bowl Sunday, New Year's Day, Baseball home opener, and Opening Weekend of the NCAA tournament. I'm stuck in a hospital for the third time in 4 years having tests. I'm used to it.  My Primary care dr. doesn't work out of the hospital So I am stuck with a doctor I don't know. I get an echo of my heart and a ct scan then an ultrasound of my arteries in my neck. All tests so far are inconclusive. The thing I want to get done is an mri of my brain. First I have 6 MRI's in my life I hate them with a passion. I am claustrophobic. I need a tranquilizer before I have them done. Ok Saturday morning the nurse tells me I am having it this morning. I totally forget it to ask for a my pills and I end up panic as they take me down for it. I'm in the machine and have push the panic button twice to get out there so I can breathe for a minute.  I wait a day for a results only to find out I had small stroke. Which is number 2 for me. This one has affected part of my braing that controls sensory therefore my left side maybe numb for awhile. Although I don't really like hospital stays I do like being at that hospital. So many sexy white women to take care of me.It satisfies my nurse fetish for the time being. Its another reminder of getting busy living or get busy dying.
