Does anyone have any advice for applying for a second job?
Like I don't know what shifts I could work because my current job is very... staccato.
Should I just apply for everything and be honest when I go in?
I really like my job- bookstores are fun, I don't pay for books, and its fairly non-stress related currently (that too may change, but at least for now).
On the other hand I can't survive with 20 hours at 7.30 an hour. (I'll be here forever )
And I'm not gonna get fully time- I know that now. Honestly? I wouldn't care if I got benefits or not, I just need hours- but life doesn't work like that... which means 20 -23 hours is probably going to be my range.
So... flist... anyone have any advice? Know how this works? In my contract it said I could have a second job... would I just tell them both? (I mean I figure I could go in to my current job and explain)
I just don't know how to do all this... -.- I'm happy to have just one job that's fairly nice right now (Yo... I shelve books from like 9-3am last night and got paid. And got free coffee. And the people are fairly neat/cool.
