Apparently I don't have a fantasy icon.... this is problematic...

I dunno... I was doing some stuff and had an epiphany
Like at least to me... anime does not equal geeking out...
Suddenly being pulled back into fantasy (and some sci-fi) books, and getting an urge to high tail it to dragon con (not this year obviously but still) and filk, and wanting to do costumes for book characters (although I admit as much as I like Mercedes Lackey her detailing in helping with heraldic wear kinda... geh's me XP I mean I think its AWESOME she's so in to the community with filk etc... but yeah I like doing my own thing... looks like I might reread Robert Jordan someday when I have time though)
Listening to filk and blackmore's night and what not helps too....
Apparently I've also been won over to filk XP not that I wasn't... I'm just more won over now.
But yeah... its odd... I realized theres a distinct separation in my mind like "old" anime fans go into a catagory of "otakuish" and newer ones are a little segment of themselves without a name at the moment... while geeks are geeks...
*sighs* I wish my career choice gave me more freedom for that... but ah well I'll get my glasses fixed and start trying my disguise thing...
I just need a few geek shirts now... (I still want my TARDIS one... I'll do it evetunally)

(I'm not saying they don't cross over... these worlds... its just I find they are very... specefic... its a little odd when they do and you can usually tell if a person is anime/fantasy/sci-fi or all... and what type... not always and its harder and harder to tell I feel... but no all the time... like when I walked into churhch and had someone talking about a power ___ of their darkelf int he kitchen at church and was like "what?" "......." "..... dudes come on... what system?" "...er.... warhammer....." "ah figured... well ya I mean I don't do warhammer but I do other systems I just wanted to know what type of campaign" ".....wait... you DO?" ".....boy are you outta the loop" although I'm pretty sure most people at my chruch know at this point... mostly due to two weeks ago when I nearly attacked a girl across the table who said Conan was her favorite series and she was at nearly chapter 500.... *coughs*)
