That I live in a city with live music? Three years in the city that likes to call itself the music capital and I just got it.
Primarily because on my walk home from the library I walked by a deli jamming out, passed blues on the green aka weekly summer blues fest (on the bus and we pulled away and I had two bags of books -.-), and then a Brazilian jam session at the coffee house outside of where I picked up an onion for dinner (cuz I'm out. And I can afford a 49 cent onion. And I'm willing to live on curry, soba, sukiyaki, etc that is almost only rice!spices and noodle!spices but not unless I have an onion. I have to have at least an onion)
My second note?
I went to the library and got 90% steampunk ^^;;
I got the couple that are recced on several sites and found a few other victorian!steampunky ones (oh look diragable crashes!)
One was new (I think it might be in a series but I wasn't certian and forgot to go look at authors other books) it looks very neat concerning a diragble that's crashed and some dectective stuff--
Another was just Victorian and I checked out cuz it looked like Victorian!adventure!detective? Only on the bus I read the back and found out the main character is a thief ^_______^
Any guesses to which I start off with?
Third note?
Japanese.... I'm doomed... I've never been so scared of a first day of class. I don't remember ANYTHING. I can vaguely recognize some Kanji and sorta kinda stumble out katakana and hiragana but we have our basic stuff to fill out? I could barely get to where it was located--
I'm so screwed.
-.-
I think I'm gonna stick in Conan without subs later while I study and hope osmosis comes to play or something -.-
I also still need to see The Brothers Bloom
