Headaches, costumes, school, sleepy, and on anime peeples
Headaches are getting ridiculous- no one should have to take excedrin three times a week to stave off a migrane- I gave in today even after trying to just get away with advil and a nap and that failed terribly.
So yes... I'm like GAH
In other news I'd really like to work on my costume after my head stops going *swirly swirl*

*sighs* I remember now why sometimes groups of people annoy me... or why I don't stay at some of the anime clubs too long or around too many people in alot of groups.
I find it a bit bizzare how people get so freaking jealous/jumpy/defensive/feel the need to best everyone or have certian things a CERTIAN way. I've delt with it too and I think it's just ridiculous they put people through it in so many ways.
I know of multiple scanalators and fanfic artists who get sick of the harrassement and have to shut down... which is ridiculous. They're being nice. People should be happy there is more than one. What does it matter? You're not making money for it. It should be NONE PROFIT. If it wasn't for the fact my Shonen sunday copies come in a month late (I just got my conan poster last week) I'd do scans myself, and possibly for the series I don't even read if someone wanted them.
I've had to deal with it from a different side. I've seen it in costumes, cosplay, and that field. I've had lolita girls come up to me and go "can you believe she'd even think about using that? Or doing a cosplay/loli? Or why would they even consider trying if they're not gonna follow every step" Which I found HILARIOUS and would then inform them after an explination that I did the same thing. After all it's a fashion as well as a way of life. Why shouldn't you be allowed to take a fashion and run with it? It makes things intresting and its cute- I heard one girl getting cursed out for legwarmers- and I'm sorry but that's over the top and if anything that's just jealousy.
I myself have delt with a similar issue, which I have finally made myself come to terms with. I don't know why I should apologize for outfits anymore. So what I get attention? These last couple days made me realize that its bizzare for me to take being told to stand in the back so other people don't look at me rather then other people. You want attention? Then you spend 200 dollars of your food money on fabrics, designs, and then go to college for a minor in costume design. You go and learn wigmaking. You go and spend hours working on the costume by yourself without patterns without having people to help you. Go do all that until your fingers have blisters, you get migranes from the work, and until your almost sleeping through class and then I will willingly listen to the crap.
But until then people can just stop badmouthing my name, and telling me I'm a bitch for showing my face in a costume- Because I have way too many other people that have told me otherwise- and I am in no way a "true" "fully" cosplayer yet seeing how I can't/won't spend the last bit of money to get the red contacts that I REALLY need but in no way can I afford.
However the more I stay in anime the more I see it. Oldies who have been in it forever badmouthing newbies and talking down about "oh you like inuyasha? naruto? yu gi oh? bleach and then refusing to impart even a little wisdom by saying "they're just a fad person" which is also ridiculous because most people dun't have anywhere else to begin. They're not terrible series, especially for beginners... they're quite good in parts.
So what some people don't want to see battle royal? Or Death note? or monster? or NGE? or even cowboy bebop.. it's wrong for you to suddenly yell at a person and treat them like crap because they like happy things.
We're not even going to go into the people in fanfics and stuff... who get threats because they're pairing isn't inline with others... I'm sorry but that's a personal choice... if you have a fancy for say Inu and Yura of the Hair... or Naruto and Tsunade or Kaito and Akemi... well that's just spiffy for you- but I'm not going to read it but I'm sure not going to tell you that your a terrible person-
I'm a bit sad I'm even in a group that treats people like that... its why I get nervous around anime fans, especailly lolis and true cosplayers... they're so egotistical and shallow I find it bizzare.
I think its great if you can dress up anyway you can, or write anyway you can or anything. If you're passionate about it then do it! If its the people who just try to make out bad translations cuz they're in japanese 1 and managed to read a littel than why not? How else will you get better and shouldn't people be happy about it? I mean if all you can afford at first or do is wrap bandage around your hands and say "yay ninja!" so what? People say "what you're broke then go get a job"
which is stupid when you look at the ecnomic scale and currenltly its so bad even with two jobs many people can't get by even after going to college... and even more can't afford a master's.
