I'm working the Gyro booth at the Mediterranean festival at our chruch

Nice uber crowded festival but our chruch isn't uber big...

So we're running out of tomatos and onions, nad the people are waiting in line like an HOUR because theres thousands of people and we're cooking this all fresh etc...

So I've been here like two hours already taking tickets and chatting with people-

And this man comes up... and I mean he looked JUST like Robert Deniro... yes THE Robert Deniro

And he even had the mole right? And I'm thinking... this man... I mean... Is he?

And by this point I realize I'm sorta staring and we're running outta meat and making more people wait etc

So finally I say

"Sir... You know... You look an awfully lot like Robert Deniro-"

Who then goes...

"Would you like my Autograph??"

In the non joking kidna like "girl why are you bringing this up surounded by giant crowds

And I'm like "Do you mean..."

He's like "Yes"

To which I stand gaping like a fish mentioning I'm a theatre major and kinda just dumbfounded

And THEN have to tell him we're out of onions and tomatos >.<

That wasn't exactly how I was planning my first real brush with fame thanks >.<

Then I saw him again while relating the story to someone else at the festival ><

*sighs*

It's been a REALLLLLY long week...
