I fought the bus and... I think I won?
So I wake up and its just cloudy outside... So of course the minute I leave it downpours- even loving the rain I didn't particularly want to walk all around Austin in it *sighs* But honestly it was kind of nice.
So then I got on the wrong bus- no correction.... I got on the RIGHT bus going the WRONG direction so I end up on sixth street instead of 35th... *yawns* on the plus side I know how to get to sixth street now *snickers*
Then I mangaged to get to Things Celtic an hour or so early >> Somehow I managed to correct my error... figure out the "right" buses and ended up after two new buses to stop directly in front of the store *snickers* the directions that the metro site gave me informed me I would've had to like doubled back or something O.o I have no idea... Did find a great restaurant tho where I splurged and got excellent Eggplant parmesian... I've wanted it since I've got here... and yeah.... Jester's chicken stuff can't evne go by that name XD
Bards were great as always ^^ And it was fun to see how they actually set it up inside for music... *sighs* tho I did miss the rest of you since its odd... I'm use to doing quite a bit out by myself but usually theres a couple of you for music or rennie stuff or the like... However it was still a blast ^^ not to mention I got to volenteer for the Austin Celtic Festival first week in Nov. Which is also a plus... since I don't actually get to work out at TRF its the next best thing.
Also got their new calender for 2007 and a nice set of thistle earrings.... and a pretty pin cuz they had a big sale ^^;; I did managed to hold back on buying a woolen authentic scottish skirt however.... it wsa... tempting... I didn't tho >>
Managed to get a straight shot home where I fell asleep on contact to my roomm and wake up to still no one here and its like 8 and i have um.... a ton of homework >>
