stop the heinous
i really thought that today was going to be a good day.
i woke up all sorts of happy, and everything was going good. and than
i got to the studio. and it went down hill.
ugh. i figured id get maybe 2 setups done. 5 hours of class/ and 3 into it i realized i left half of my shit at home.
dropped 45$ on velvet, 50 on polaroids.
got back to the studios at 4 and realized i hadnt taken a picture in three hours. at 5 i got 2 pictures done. of the same thing.
so i tried a different set up.
and got extra bellows since it was going to be real close up.
i popped open the bellows,
and the shutter falls out since i unlatched the wrong thing. i caught it. phew.
lock the latch step back to unlock the right bellows lock and the shutter falls out again.
this time i wasnt expecting it and it fell on the ground and broke the aperture.
that shit has to be at least 200$ at least.
so after spending 3 hours making bullshit paper bag shit. stinking up the studios with linseed oil.
and breaking shutters. and a total of 8 hours in the studio. i took a grand total of 2 shitty, horrible, heinous, beat, photographs.
this is just the beginning.
not only do i have to have this done and shot by in a week,
but i have the final in 2 weeeks, which ive barely shot for,
reshoot the copy assignment,
plus another passfail assignment hes giving to us next week.
it is at this point in time wherei wish i was a cager. and had after hours. i would build a shantytown in the studios. it would be grand.
