I usually prefer my biscuits with just butter but sometimes I like strawberry preserves :D

also, red lobster cheese biscuits are greasy and delicious.

the only scones I've had were dry. I'll definitely try real ones when I go to London because I'm guessing they're better.

The biscuits are the only reason to go to red lobster imo.

for me real american biscuits are a savory thing so just butter is perfect

scones are naturally dry but good ones (i.e. not starbucks) are amazing. there's a bakery near me that makes all kinds of incredible varieties like plum-almond-chocolate or ginger-peach, whatever stuff is in season. ugh so good

those flavors sound great. the one I had were plain with a side of lemon curd.

i like the scones from panera, although they're lots sweeter than the scones i've made

Not always savory, they can be used to make a quick strawberry shortcake too.

no one can explain to me why i cannot find a decent (non sweet, non flat) biscuit in amurica north of the mason-dixon. it's grant's last revenge - well played sir

scones are pretty solid compared to american biscuits. but they are just the right amount of sweet and good with toppings. but i'm not into ones with currants. idg the point of currants.

you haven't had my scones. they are not dry. they are perfection :p

srsly tho, they're really good lol and the key is whipping cream (i mean whipping cream in the dough, not whipped on top)

thanks to @nic1701 for giving me the recipe ;)
