really? the results are exactly what i thought, a majority of the guys would get through despite the girls being stronger.

the only tough one was juliet vs jamar and they did everything to stack that in her favor cause she was always they're best chance of a girl winning.

oic i didn't realize they stacked the deck, i thought for sure jamar would get thru from how ppol talked about his performances

it surprised me that she beat him soundly in the ppol's vote

the system of only one person going thru from each team rly sucks for ppol on a strong team

also the girl on adam's team would have gone through too. She had 92 and tony had 108, but without adam's edge they would have been 102 to 98

yeah, they had him go early and gave him a weak song while she went last and had the best song of the night. plus, her song was all about how it was a man's world lol.

jamar was by far the best guy imo and it sucked that he and juliet couldn't be the final 2 cause of rules. at the top 8, they should just let it be an all out battle cause the best period should be advancing.

not that it really matters who wins since it's doubtful any winners will be successful.

IA. Top 8 onward it should be whoever america votes for. I think they should also stretch it out a bit longer so people can really get behind their faves. But yeah, it's not likely any of them will do that great after the show.

yeah, with the current format peeps just have no way of really connecting to a contestant. by splitting them into two team nights, we only see them every other week once they're widdled down from a huge amount. and then the judges get to eliminate instantly and then get to give points... it's just so overly complicated and disconnected.

lol good point, ia idt it's a priority for mark burnett with this show

i wonder if it was a teeny bit disheartening for current contestants to see the top 4 from last year on, who are not much further along in their careers than they were before the show

or are discouraged that adam levine wouldn't perform with javier on his song tonight? he said he's only perform if they did a cover, but wth would that help javier at all smh.

yeah, it's def about the show as a show and not as a platform, which makes the judges claims to the opposite ring even more disingenuous. the winner get a chance to be signed, but it's not even guaranteed. in comparison, idol and x-factor have this huge label and management machine just waiting to help post show.

ho shit, rly? lol just when i think levine can't be more of a douche

the judges especially levine have rly talked a lot of smack about how much better their show is, but if another season goes by without any discernible success stories i think the press that threw flowers at their feet for challenging idol will eventually turn on them

The overinvolvement of the judges this late in the game is what will kill this show.
