if you're talking about the comment that used the word doctored, they just pointed out the word doctored isn't accurate and sounds legit like they watch too much csi and have no idea what they're actually talking about lol. albeit, in a much more succinct, though less nice way.

since i'm not on twitter and i rarely go somewhere else to get my fandom fix, this comm is what i'm exposed to and it just happens a lot here lately

i just haven't seen anyone get ~attacked for saying they dislike the photoshoot. i haven't really seen it be discussed much at all, actually. the only time i've seen it was in response to peeps not liking it was tweeted to peeps involved so. yeah.

though even if you're talking generally, but using a fuzzy case study, your whole argument pretty much falls apart. hold it till it legit happens instead :3

when yesterday people framed the whole ATLR discussion about gay male popstarts as irrelevant just because there was 1 idiot with 1 stupid comment...it was aggravating to me even tho nobody was being attacked

i'm not using a fuzzy case study, it happens almost every day now whether it's online articles, photoshoots, opinions on music, singles etc etc

this comm has become oversensitive to negative opinions about Adam and i've been pointing it out for a long time now :3

tech it is a fuzzy case study in this instance cause no one was being attacked for an opinion, just the use of a specific word (and lbr that's not really an ~attack, it's just a silly meme peeps use). i don't disagree that peeps get jumped on for having differing opinions, but that wasn't the case here in particular, hence the fuzziness.

still, the wank post isn't here to cater to your (or my) opinions on things or deciding whether they deserve to be wanked about. a lot of stupid stuff gets wanked on. if you don't agree, comment about it, but no one is required to agree (i usually just keep tl;dring until i run out of words lol :3). personally, there have always been people in wank who are overly defensive, but that's just my opinion on it and they have the right to discuss their opinion too.

mostly i usually let wank fall where it wants, as long as it's not ott beyond civil discussion or obvs trolling.
