Goodbye NYC, hello again LA! My week in NYC was awesome. I went to exhibits and musicals and ate lovely meals. I'm sure many of you have visited New York; it was the third time for me. I stayed in Soho for a week and it's absolutely the best place in NYC!! Not so touristy, much quieter, and has the best shopping :)

At the beginning of the week I went to the Alexander McQueen exhibit and that was quite the experience! What a talented man. WOW! Many celebrities are fans of McQueen's creations and I can see why. Lady Gaga, for one, wears a lot of McQueen outfits and shoes. I'm sure everyone has seen these shoes in her videos and on the red carpet.

I was kind of bummed that you couldn't take pictures inside the museum.. :( Make sure you have lots of time when you go to this exhibit, because the line was looooong!! About three hours, that's pretty long. I myself slipped past the line unnoticed :) haha!! There's nothing I hate as much as I hate standing in line!! Argh!! I can't handle just standing there. I assume this is a common problem??

On Friday, I went to a ”theater” show called 'Sleep No More' and all I can say is WHOA!! It's hard to put into words, but I hope you can make this out. You go in through a dark maze and everyone is given a number. At the end of the maze is a 30s/40s style cabaret restaurant, where you can have a few drinks. At this point I'll say it's a good idea to have a few!! Everyone, down to the waiters, is dressed in the style of the era and it feels really authentic. You have to wait in the restaurant until your name is called and after that, the audience is divided up into groups. At the back of the restaurant is a room where you go and get a mask. You're told not to speak or remove the mask during the show.. (I was panicking so hard by this point).. And that's only the beginning.. They welcome you into a hotel where strange things happen and you get a short overview of the hotel's history. The hotel has six floors and you can move freely wherever you want. There are people (actors) living in the hotel and you should pay attention to where they go. Only sometimes the actors put on masks too so you can't always tell who's an actor and who's audience. So scary!! So it's a huge, dark, scary, smoky place and strange things happen in the rooms.. like ”murders”. One time I ended up in a labyrinth and it took me 15 minutes to find my way out again.. All told, you have two hours to walk around the hotel, and I recommend you stay till the end. The end is the best part, you find out how the story progressed. I know it's hard to make sense of this, but you just can't write it.. You have to see it!! The scariest experience ever, but so impressive!! Maybe in a week I'll be able to sleep through the night again without thinking about it...

New York was lovely, but coming back to Los Angeles was even better!! YAY
