OT - I hate country music, but I want Scotty to win because I think he is the most ready and marketable for the music industry. And most of the rest of them are boring.

I think I agree with this. I wouldn't buy his album, but he seems like a nice guy and if we're picking the best voice consistently, it's him.

huh, I totally disagree. There's no denying he's super talented and it may be a virtue of his song choice so far, but his voice feels very dated. He loves the elvis/johnny cash era down/mid-tempo stuff and he does it very well, but I don't see how he's going to translate that into a marketable modern album.

I don't like country music, but the guy has a great voice and could actually make it in the industry in that genre.
