i really don't find this song pleasing at all ><...
and the pv... ORZ...
a ra shi + step and go + every other pv mixed up together... but softer and blurer to hide the wrinkles lol... to match the rojak song i guess ><...
what happened to pv creativity?
at least they tried something new for troublemaker.
i would have thought they had already given up on these kind of bubblegum shots years ago...
recently i've been thinking.
is arashi really growing? or receding?
have the jimusho stopped investing in their creative growth?
ie. they only believe the boys have this much capability. thus in future, they'll just keep the boys in similar/safe cycles of style, image till they expire from the consumers' minds.
i think all their fans are growing, they should grow with their fans, not against them.
i feel that the jimusho is too desperate for young fans, as the younger groups aren't really as hot, thus they rely on arashi to cash them in.
however, as a fan, i want to see the boys grow.
and i don't mean sales figures.
but personal achievements, improvements, whether at acting, production, music, concert, etc...
things that can accumulate that fans can 'idolize'.
eg. jun's acting.
he's not improving T_T
i mean, everyone can blame the bad script for rainbow, but come on, gotta admit that he didn't do such a good acting job in it either.
it's just too 'forced'.
i think it's time for him to hang up his ego and start fresh. even act as a sidekick with the industrial greats. forget about the ratings. just re-learn from some of the more matured, true actors in japan.
i remembered, a few years ago, i was boasting to my colleagues how arashi was now having concerts in domes rather than in concert halls... and then kokuritsu...
but now, i really donno what to say.
instead of maturing to making their concerts even more spectacular in a more modern break-through sense to woo a broader audience that will accept them faster as they grow older, they turn back towards childish wonder instead.
out of curiosity, i went to a backstreet boys con last yr.
to me, it was a horror watching balding guys doing cutesy gestures, throwing 'V's and rabu rabu ORZ...
i left the con halfway O.o...
i pray arashi don't end up like them O.o...
honestly, guys, leave the stuff that you have done before to hsj and your kouhais... or smap XD
they are at an age where they should throw themselves at every opportunity to experiment and grow their capabilities.
coz they can't be 20+ forever.
leader is 30... but his true talent is hidden under all those childish acting. eg. can't he put some of his drawing skills into the pv or to art directing the con?
i want to see them mature into great producers, actors, creative directors, planners... even politicians.
and not in rainbow outfits at 40. lol
i've never had anything against them being idols, but recently they have tried so hard to shout out that they are nothing but idols.
ok la, maybe i'm asking too much... or maybe my period is coming XD

i'm going for their charity event.
i hope i don't see them in power ranger suits ORZ...
