Last night, I watched "Wired For Sex." They were discussing Japan's sex culture.
Now, call me racists, or an imperialist, but I detest much of Japanese culture post-Sengoku period. The neon signs, the flashing lights, the manga, the chibi-cartoons. hello kitty, and j-pop (or j-anything). Loathe it. Sorry, it turns my stomach.
Anyway, I heard a Manga artist, on "Wired for Sex," comment on the women of Manga. He said: "The men of Japan like smaller* women because Japanese men are shy. They like smaller women because they can be more confident. With Regular* women we have listen to what they say, and respect their opinions."
8(I think this was a malaprop by the Translator. I believe the correct words should be submissive and normal)
He said it with a tinge of annoyance, as if it were a hassle to do so.
So I say: I will accept Hello Kitty and DDR if everyone else accepts and embraces rampant, blatant, and obvious Misogyny.
