Yay hunger.
I walked into the kitchen with an armload of laundry, keeping track of my son's writing progress, I had a meeting with my business partner over the phone in ten minutes, and see my daughter looking into the fridge. "I'm hungry. Can you cook me the salmon?" I was incredulous. "Now?! I have enough to do. Feed yourself. Look it up."
And she did, but online. I gave her our cookbook and thumbed to the fish section. And while I had my meeting, she baked two salmon fillets with potatoes. It was ready for a brunch, and we all ate it. She is quite proud of herself. It was yummy!
