I woke up before I was fully rested today because I had to pee, but it reminded me that I wanted to capture for posterity the fact that yesterday, I experienced the Worst Wakeup Method Ever.
Yes, worse than the Surprise Vicious Kitten Toe Attack. Worse than the Chipper Maternal Phone Call.
Mitch sat on my shoulder, carefully leaned forward, stuck his tongue in my nostril, and swirled it around.
People have stuck their fingers up my nose before, but those feeble gross-out attempts do not at all capture the feeling of violation that is having a rough wet kitten tongue jammed up your nose. Augh.
Oh also, last night we were trying to get out of the house, but were stopped in our tracks by a documentary that came on Logo called Out in Nature. It was about homosexuality in the animal kingdom. I think it had more footage of animal sex than any nature program I've ever seen. Nothing like watching monkey butt sex to kick off your evening. (Yes, there is lesbian animal sex too).
