Youre the one beating around the bush here (no pun intended). 11 dollars is way too high. Kerry in his debates (not from DAN RATHERS OR MICHAEL MOORE) discussed raising it nationally to $7 and Bush too agreed that the minimum wage is currently way too low its simply not something hes looking to address any time soon. It sounds like youre just trying to flex your knowledge on economics - im glad you passed ECON101.
I never said to nationalize healthcare either i realize that would cause HUGE taxing and would be improbable to start here in America. I simply said government should help FUND! healthcare. Its simply not fair to think that a person has to solely rely on the insurance companies for relief. If the government could help reduce the price of medicines then there is no way that that doesnt benefit everyone especially helping those that cannot afford insurance or most doctors bills. However putting so much dependence on the insurance companies leaves you open to be paying entirely for drugs and procedures that they wont cover. I know me personally, I once took a pill for asthema and suddenly the insurance companies stopped providing coverage on said pill. So now im shit out of luck and can no longer use this medicine since the price of the pill is $4 each (taken once a day you do the math,.,)
But hey, youre probably right i just get ALL my facts from dan rathers (i dont even know what station hes on) and michael moore and not because i have a large intrest in politics such that im majoring in Political Science (and History) and minoring in Criminal Justice. But like i said your probably right.
[ And the day i say Canada is perfect is the day i die. Fuckn Canadians. ]
