Among many other things that I agree with in this journal entry... I have to stress that if the pres. did hold his principles to north korea, we would totally be in trouble...
You ever see those north korean soldiers marching??... they're clearly insane, and the fight against them would too be insane...
It's a hard thing to accept that we live in a country where the majority vote on their religious beliefs, and a majoity of the religious beliefs are evangelical/arrogant christians who believe that THEIR will of god that applies to everyone , everywhere, and those that do not accept jesus as their savior will die in a hell fire once he "returns"...
what's even more troubling is that the youth vote did nothing in this election... most polls show that the % of the vote that was 18-24 year olds was the exact same in 2000.... Fuck Vote or Die... it was a fucking joke, and puff daddy should stay out of politics and stick to the dumb and materialistic rap music that he so willingly sells to the mindless youth culture... that same youth culture that basically failed to counteract the older conservative vote.

Dont get me wrong i in no way am looking to start a war with North Korea but shouldnt we at least take the diplomatic approach and take to them. I dont see how avoiding them helps either,.,
Its true about the religion aspects of this country. Its mind-boggling to think that SO many people voted based on religious principles there really has to be a better seperation of church and state. Thing like abortion and stem-cell research cannot be limited because the Pope says its unethical. And with stem cell research so much good can come out of that its amazing how blind people can be to that.
Lastly, it pains me to see people our age take no interest in politics when if they just opened their eyes theyd see how much it affects our everyday lives. Not to mention that most people our age do side with Kerry that had they had a better voter turnout we would not have even had to leave it up to the inbred intellectuals of Ohio. Guys like Puff daddy dont give a shit about who votes anyways its just his way of getting attention and increasing his marketability. Its amazing though the extent in which people will listen to him though. Theyll listen enough to buy his unoriginal rap songs none of which features anything that wasnt stolen from another person. Yet, when he tells people to exercise democracy thats where these "mindless youths" draw the line. Pathetic.
