Summary: This vid was really about exploring the aesthetics of The Fifth Element, which are really impressive. Narrative-wise I mostly do a retelling in order to achieve that. I like this song in relation to it because of the way it invokes the opulence of the vacation planet in particular but really the feel of the entire film as well. This is only the second vid I've ever made so it was particularly challenging to choose a song that required such quick cutting. My other biggest challenge was what to do with the few lines that I was uncomfortable with in the audio source. One of them gets beautifully subverted I think and the other is just awkward - try to spot them - and hope you enjoy!
