Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee omg. This is fantastic -- (I had a lot more capslock but I'm trying to tone it down a little bit because I was feeling like a creeper for going OMG YAY RAPE AND MURDER AND REVENGE!!!!!!) -- and totally mesmerizing and the song choice is brill. I love the repeating motif of the matchbox and the ass-kicking and the darkness and YES. *flails, watches again*

The music and the editing here really capture the essence of these films - years of relentless victimization turned around with pure, thrilling vengeance on the perpetrators. You kind of don't want to cheer on all the two-eyes-for-an-eye extremes outside the legal system, but it's just so satisfying to see the Taser to the testicles and for someone to avenge the girls who didn't have the power to save themselves.
