This vid is making me play it on repeat a lot. I loved the editing, which is incredibly sharp and exciting and it's so slick and gorgeous to watch.

The narrative seems transparent on first watch but the more I rewatch it the more interesting it gets. To me there is not one but two major transitions, the first the transition to Nikki taking back the power in "Est-ce que tu aimes le sexe?", and the other is the banana-chopping and the very bloody/violent imagery toward the end. I like that there is some internal conflict between these two ideas. Or maybe the conflict is intentional, since "Les hommes pensent que les féministes détestent le sexe" and she's only playing up to what is expected of her, one way or another. Really thought-provoking and I love that. Well done.
