This is absolutely beautiful. I went from shivers at the gorgeous imagery from throughout the film building and building, reeling in Damiel, all the people at all ages with their range of emotions, their loneliness and their connections, to a great big smile at the conclusion, when he dives in. Will be coming back for many more viewings!

And the music - absolutely perfect. I really just love everything here. Thank you.

And the rock, the pen, the walls, the kiss, the handshake - Cassiel holding him - all these ways Damiel tries to sense the world the way mortals do, the ways he tries to touch and connect. So cool.

I am so happy that you like it so much. As I said, I was so happy to be making a vid for you! But the film is not a little intimidating in its grandeur; I knew that anyone who loved the movie like I do would expect a vid that evoked its visual beauty as well as its heart. So I'm over the moon that you're happy with it.

I struggled with song choice; for a while I thought I was going to make a Marion vid and I had great songs for her. But in the end I wanted to focus on the aspect of the film I love most: Damiel's love for humanity and decision to fall. I hope you don't mind that I took most of the romance out. (:

Not at all. It's actually incidental to my enjoyment of the movie. I love what you did to pieces, and if you ever decide to go into detail about your process or intentions, for example with the use of color, I will soak it up.

I thought this source was "unviddible" but boy did you prove me wrong. Love the editing and the song choice is absolutely inspired. Fantastic job!

Very beautiful. I haven't seen the movie (sorry, bironic), but the arc of the vid was absolutely clear, and the use of color to show life and passion was inspired.

This is beautiful and really does the movie justice. A good overview or rec, I think, for people who haven't seen it. A great refresher for people who haven't seen it in a while.

Really very lovely.

You're very welcome, I think this vid is the first one I gushed about this festivids and it's included in the round-up of my favorites.
