Pro's
- get an ego boost because people might tell me I look pretty
- get a dress I can use for photoshoots
- get to look pretty for one night
- get to spy on the rest of the grads and bitch about them to my friends who won't be there
Cons
- buy a new dress I'll barely ever wear for x dollars
- buy shoes I'll barely ever wear for x dollars
- get my hair done for x dollars - which will undoubtedly come undone within the first hour of being there
- buy a ticket for x dollars just so I can spend my evening with people I don't even like
- be totally miserable while in a nice dress and only be noticed because the dress is nice, not because I'm nice
- spend way too much money and then regret it bitterly
- listen to music I hate all night
