On the recommendation of a counselor I went and did some of those annoying standardized tests that place you in appropriate classes. When I walked out of the testing room one of the workers was there to greet me.
"Hi Summer!"
"Hello."
"So, it looks like you did just fine on your tests."
"Good."
"So you got a 98/99 on Reading and a 99/99 on Writing."
"As expected."
"Well.....You've been flagged for the Honor Program, you should go see a counselor and enroll."
"Don't I need a 4.0 GPA?"
*nervous laugh* "Heeeee...Not with your scores."
"Well I'm not really a big fa-"
"The program helps you get scholarships, do study abroad--"
"Give me that brochure."
As I was walking out I heard her whispering with a co-worker about "unprecedented time:correct answers ratio".
In other news:
Forget Snakes on a Plane, I had a cat climb into my motherfucking car last night!
A CAT!
IN MY CAR!
