I've been reading about a number of people who came down with "Con Crud", and just wanted to share a quick tip. It's been 3 years since I've gotten sick from a con, and coincidentally, it's been 3 years since I stopped touching handrails and door handles at cons. It may seem a bit anal, but it seems to have worked for me. Now, outside of the Con? Hell, I'll stick my tongue to raw sewage, germs really don't scare me, but if I'm around tens of thousands of people, I'll do everything possible not to come in to contact with their cooties. Just because you take pride in yourself and wouldn't dream of infecting others with your sickness, it doesn't mean that everyone else feels that way too.
