soo an upate from seattle the grand washington state. 1:46 AM sharon time. 10:46 PM seattle time.
its quite nice here really. the first 2 days were really hot for seattle weather, its usually in the 70's. the first day i didnt leave the premisis of our friends's house because its soo nice. i went to the movies, to the gym, and walked in the gardens without going mor than a few yards. their movie screen is bigger than the sharon cinema one, seriously. if i lived here i wouldnt leave that basement. then yeasterday we did all the touristy stuff. the space needle, the pike place market which is little shops and fruit and fish stands, and walked a round the city. then we went to my dad's friends on an island for dinner on this gorgeous island on a lake. aaaand today we did some more touristy things, watched some more movies, went out for dinner and such. on the way back from dinner the people we are staying with gave us a tour of downtown seattle including the houseboat in sleepless in seattle and some really amazing views.
tomorrow i leave for orcas island in the san juan islands. apparantly you can swim there. its not summer vacation without swimming really.
