Whoa, definitely best birthday yet! Thank you to everyone who wished me Happy Birthday. I wish I could've shared my birthday with all of you, seriously!
Friday: Dom and I left for Carrboro, NC around five. The drive wasn't too bad, despite the fact that it was three hours long. We arrived at the Cat's Cradle about an hour before the show started, so we chowed down on some pizza. It's amazing seeing a venue included in a strip mall. I really, really enjoyed all of the bands. I'm never good at describing bands, but I do recommend that you check them all out. Cursive was excellent!
The ride home sucked. Due to lack of sleep, the ride seemed like it took forever. I fell asleep a couple times, and I didn't kill either of us!
Saturday: I woke up and helped my mom clean the house for the birthday get together. Jamie and Char came over about an hour before everyone else did, and we went to the ice cream parlor. When we got back home we watched Homestar Runner, and Sean, Jacob, Whitney, and Sarah all showed up within that time. The boys refused to dance, jerks, and they left after awhile.
Dance party + Le Tigre + clapping + being girls = Ruling!
We went to the Omelet Shoppe and it was soo fun. Char is the funniest person. When we got home, we watched Wet, Hot American Summer. I made everyone give me a birthday massage and then I passed out.
Sunday: I was born today, eighteen years ago. After Jamie and Char went home, Whitney and I got ready and went to Blacksburg. We met up with Dom, Jake, Brian, and Terry and went to get my lip done. It didn't hurt at all! Or maybe I'm just a badass. I think it looks good, minus the big ring, which I can change when it heals. And it's not like a life changing experience either. The only obstacle that I've encountered is putting on lip gloss and brushing my teeth. My mom's starting to get use to it.
After that, Dom and I seperated from the rest of the group and went back to his dorm, got food, and went to Wal-Mart. Relationships can be so amazing when you get along.
The highlight of my birthday: Dom singing me "Happy Birtday."
