I have the flu.
Yesterday I thought I was going to die.
Luckily, when I woke this morning it was clear that I will survive despite the cough that has taken up residence in my lungs.
I have awesome friends who have ensured my survival with gifts of sandwiches, soup, humidifiers, small stuffed animals, and drugs. YAY FRIENDS!
(Yes, that's correct, I have the flu and I lost my job all in the same week! I am awesome!)
