I made a $10 contribution to the Libertarian Party today. I figure every little bit helps to raise awareness that both the Democratic and Republican Parties are merely tools that big business uses to control people.
More importantly, I wish society would discard the notion that voting for a "third-party" candidate is "throwing your vote away". Such a mentality perpetuated our two-party system which has spawned little more than egregious laws, policies, and wars.
I hope Christine Smith gets the 2008 presidential nomination. Still, I will likely support whichever Libertarian candidate is poised to get the most votes. Revolution is within our reach.
