Sodding banks!!!!
Well Chez Me aint about to happen. I found home, I then went to the bank today to sort out the finance. Well you know the old advertising HSBC use, the world's bank? Well that is true if the world evolves round London. See the HSBC, the world's bank, does not recognise their own overseas accounts, unless they are approved by the country in which they are held. It takes a week for such proof to be sent through, a week is like a centuary in property.
Well considering the fact that I have lived in NY for the last two years, and I own 5 properties out there, all paying me rent into HSBC accounts. I was banking with HSBC before I moved there, and I have had loans and what not with them here before I left, and I was even able to raise finance in NY, but here for some reason I cannot. I am so pissed.
Well to end a long story I lost Chez Me, as the property was sold this afternoon to a successful buyer, whilst I was trying to raise the finance. The part that annoys me most is that with cash that could've made available , I could have bought that place five times over. Anyway nevermind, I will find somewhere better, I hope so anyway?
I have been in the World's End in Camden, for most of the afternoon waiting for the mortgage approval which never came through. I am now at home and getting truly hammered.
Tomorrow is another day, and I will find Chez Me!!!
