Polka Dotted Princess
So Rahne has the Chicken Pox. She's got little bumps all over herself right now and she's doing a really good job of not scratching them. I am so very proud of her for it. Avril doesn't have the Chicken Pox yet but has obviously been exposed. So both girls are getting an extended vacation from school right now. Rahne is wrecked: she came home from Mommy's this morning and went back to bed after breakfast. She's been sleeping ever since. Avril, on the other hand, wanted to stay up after breakfast and did not like the idea of maybe just relaxing in her bed for a little bit. So she's going to watch some TFO since she isn't going to school. She also still has her incredible appetite so later we are going to make fried egg sandwiches for lunch.
I feel bad for Rahne because she's going to miss a birthday party for a friend on Sunday because of this and a lot of the people she loves can't come visit her because she's sick. She seems pretty bummed about it. Suzanne and I agreed though to make this as easy on them both as possible and a positive experience as much as we can.
I am glad that we are still good parents and can agree on the care of our children.
