OK, it's too soon to talk about that, but... I am following through. I usually work at home on Tuesday and Friday, so today I took a quick spin up the hill outside my house, then down and up again. The goal is to build up my leg strength to take on Sprague Road. I managed to make it up without too much problem, using the 4th or 5th gear on my ancient 12-speed. I only rode for 10 minutes (I am working, after all), but today's focus was strength, not endurance. If I can do this twice during the week and then something longer on Sundays, maybe I'll try Sprague in just a few weeks.
