Sing It - deuts season
As I mentioned a while ago, Sing It! season 8 will be all-duets all-the-time. You can audition either singly or with a partner, but all competitions past the audition round will be duets. I am now in the competition singing with mytilene, who plays Emily in Misfile. Auditions continue through the 21st, for any who are interested.
And speaking of Misfile, some of you are wondering when I'm going to get the next episode mixed. I confess, I ran into problems with a couple of sound effects, and just kept putting off trying to track them down. In particular, I need:

- A high school parking lot in the morning - cars arriving, student chatter, etc.
- A beginning manual transmission driver repeatedly stalling out the engine. I've tried recording this myself, but I've been driving a stick shift too long, and I cannot make it stall anymore.
I'll start working on these again, but if any of my friends can get such sfx, that would be appreciated.
